Not a bad idea at all really. The Protestants have nothing against the Deutero-canonical books though, do they? It's just that they don't consider them holy writ. They think them worthwhile to read though, I think.

As for a passage from this part of the Bible appearing in a Christmas carol, this might bring them to read the Apocrypha, of course. But do we know whether their singing "Good King Wenceslas" has led to their reading Bohemian history?
I'm sorry if this sounds like I'm throwing cold water on your suggestion. I don't want it to sound like this. It's really not a bad one.

Mr. Michuta:

Hi. I have two questions for you:

1) Is there a release date yet for your upcoming book on the Deuterocanon?

2) Is there anywhere I can pre-order it from?

Thanks and God bless,

Michael

Hi Jen,

You made a good point. People will readily believe in ghost or even the devil, but refuse to believe that God exists which is very strange. I agree that they unwittingly are searching for God. I too am very put off when they try to contact potential spirits. This is spiritism plain and simple and they may be asking for more than they are bargaining for. I do find the idea of trying to find empirical or measurable evidence of a non-material entity fascinating. I only wish that they were more scientific in their approach.

I really like this show. It intrigues me and makes me ponder the role of spirituality in the world. Some people seem to think that the spirit world is only that of ghosts and hauntings and yet, I wonder why they can't believe that there is a God and one that is in control of everything. Whenever I watch this show I am drawn in and very curious, yet it freaks me out when they start calling out to spirits in a way that seems demonic. I always worry for their souls, yet I think they are searching for something larger than what they are and I hope that leads them to Christ Jesus our Lord.
